Are you, or is your company, one of those who leave all the gift-giving to the last minute and then tend to make hasty decisions in a panic? Rushing like this usually results in an ill-considered gift that may not end up being used.
In fact, now is already the right time to start thinking about Christmas gifts. You're probably asking why, since it's only September? There are several reasons:
- You have enough time, so that you can come up with a great gift. A gift that brings the recipient joy and is sure to be used. Do think sustainably!
- Depending on the product, delivery times can be unexpectedly long or the product may sell out, which is why gifts planned well in advance definitely won't cause any problems.
- With early planning you can also keep costs under better control both for yourself and for the company.
The next question to answer is who the gift is for and what you want to say with it. Giving a gift to a business partner is certainly different from choosing a gift for your own employees, but despite that, the main thing to keep in mind is one simple truth – a gift must come from the heart and with good wishes!
The main purpose of giving a Christmas gift with the company logo to a business partner is undoubtedly to market the company and maintain customer relationships. Whether you simply want to delight your partner, thank them for working together or make an impression, one thing is clear: a Christmas gift gives you a chance to be remembered!
For your own employees, a gift is usually chosen with internal marketing goals in mind, to increase employees' loyalty to the company and strengthen team spirit. If you know your employees well, choosing a company Christmas gift is much easier.
So what should you give once you know who the recipients are? Just like last year, we've put together a short list of products you could give your employees or partners for Christmas:
- A cosy, warm blanket – sooner or later we all feel the need and the urge to wrap ourselves up in a cosy blanket, especially on chilly winter evenings. A well-chosen, high-quality blanket is also a piece of home decor in its own right.
- A basket of local produce – hardly anyone says no to good food and drink. Local produce of any kind is especially welcome, and it also supports small producers.
- Kitchen accessories (chopping boards, wine accessory sets, cheese knives, gingerbread decorating kits) – a very warmly received product category! After all, they say the way to the heart is through the stomach! Cooking at home is increasingly popular, which means people spend quite a lot of time in the kitchen. High-quality kitchen accessories are sure to be used and double as home decor. As for gingerbread decorating kits, they have become a particularly welcome gift in recent years and have won even more fans thanks to Covid. Gifts that encourage making things yourself and spending time together are a sure way to a customer's heart!
- Sports gear (yoga mats, sportswear, bags etc.) – the whole Covid situation has made people take better care of their health and pay more attention to it. That's why sports gear is still very much on trend. At the start of the year many people make resolutions about exercise and how they spend their free time, so a promotional or corporate gift in the form of a nice piece of sports gear or clothing could be just the extra motivation to turn that resolution into reality.
What to keep in mind when choosing a Christmas gift?
- The more practical the gift, the more likely it is to actually be used.
- Focus on quality rather than quantity. A high-quality gift lasts longer and so brings the recipient joy for longer too.
- Don't give unnecessary items. Giving just for the sake of giving is an outdated habit. Nowadays none of us can get around sustainability or the fact that each of us could do our bit. Giving unnecessary things only encourages overproduction!

The products listed above are just a few examples of possible gifts, because the choice is really endless. If you didn't find an idea you liked among them, feel free to come to us with your own idea and we'll make it happen!
